LONG BEACH (CBS) — Royalty is coming to the Queen Mary in Long Beach.
It won’t be Prince William or his wife, Duchess Kate — instead, a collection of memorabilia linked to the late Princess Diana and the royal family will be exhibited at the Queen Mary this summer.
The exhibit, “Diana: Legacy of a Princess,” will include a priceless collection of evening gowns, dresses, personal accessories, photographs, heirlooms and other memorabilia, some of which has never been seen by the public.
The exhibit is presented in part by a breast cancer charity, Pink Ribbons Crusade, and a portion of the proceeds generated by the attraction will go to a Southern California charity focused on breast cancer awareness and prevention.
“Diana: Legacy of a Princess” opens June 16.
